Type CMF high voltage Fuse-links are designed to protect motor circuits against the thermal and dynamic effects of short-circuit currents. Their special design (type tested acc. to IEC 60282-1), is resistant to cyclical loads typically found in electric motors ensuring a long, trouble-free service life. This fuse link has been built to withstand motor inrush starting currents with low power losses, rated to 100 Amps, with a rated voltage of 12 kV.

With top level fault current limitation and interruption performance with outdoor sealing included, this fuse has been designed to withstand harsh working environments. Equipped with a temperature control unit enabling additional protection against thermal stresses in small enclosures. Compatible with a range of ABB products and suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
