Standard PIR Timer,  Body Heat Detection, 5-7 Metre Sensing Range

This versatile PIR Timer is fully automatic and has been created to control various power loads in a variety of commercial, domestic, and industrial applications via the detection of a person’s body heat. When activated by the detection of moving body heat, the lighting or power load will be switched on and then stay on for a predetermined period of time. This detector has a working range of 5 to 7 metres, and a time delay feature of between 2 minutes to 1 hour.

When body heat isn’t being detected anymore, the predetermined time period of the PIR will elapse, and the load will be automatically switched off. A built-in internal light sensor will keep the lighting switched off when sufficient ambient light is available, further increasing the energy savings. The PIR Timer also has an override switch on the faceplate. These timer sensors are commonly used to control a variety of load types and appliances in any room, suitable for new installations and retrofitting.

Suitable for all general load types 10A - Including lighting loads that are LED, Compact Fluorescent, Incandescent and Resistive. This switch can also switch contactors provided a capacitor is fitted across the coil.
