Non-Contact Safety Interlock Switches, 2NO+1NC

Non-contact magnetic safety interlock switches. These capable contact free safety switches are equipped with 2NO+1NC contacts and are magnetically coded to their actuator. These magnetically actuated safety switch systems are ideal for use in areas where there is a high level of contamination by being easy to clean and maintain.

Typical applications include the monitoring of safety doors and removable guards used to protect users from easily accessing dangerous machinery and processes. The dangerous state of a machine can only be switched on when the guard is closed (which activates the switch), if the guard is opened while the machinery is running a stop command is triggered slowing the machine to a stop. A shock to the door exceeding 300 m/s2 may cause a failure of the coded magnetic switches.

These magnetic safety switches suitable for anywhere where a high standard of hygiene is necessary for operation. Typically, you'll find these types of safety switches where precise guidance of a safety door isn't always possible. Can be used in conjunction with the IDEC HR6S Safety Relay module.
